2007-05-07 [dragonus]: Just a suggestion but woulden't it be easier to just make the music thing the same as on myspace. That way people woulden't have to see a popup page they can just play the music to hear it. Just an idea you don't have to do that if you don't want to I just thaught it may make it a bit easier that's all.
2007-05-07 [Hedda]: You got an answer on pseudohtml
2007-05-07 [dragonus]: Hey [Hedda] I explained the reason why after I got the answer on pseudohtml
2007-09-19 [Hot Tabasco]: Can a 'select all' or 'invert selection' checkbox be added in a messages overview? This way, deleting more then one message item takes a less time then now by selecting the messages one at a time. (delete button pressed after the selection of messages has been made)
2007-09-19 [Bookwyrm]: Yeah, I have to agree I'd really like that myself. -pokes [Hedda] gently-
Oh, and you may get a quicker answer if you post this question in the To The Crew forum. :D Sometimes it takes [Hedda] longer to respond on wikis. Sometimes. :P
2007-09-20 [zoloftzantac]: That is the second most asked for feature that you will never get. (#1 is being able to delete yourself from EP)
[Hedda] says you don't need to delete the messages so just don't do it :p It doesn't save any space because copies of deleted messages are saved anyways.
[Hedda] says he won't do it because it would cause problems. Just imagine how if one of the thousands of members did in on accidnet each week it would make a lot of extra work for [Hedda] to deal with fixing it.
So, [Hedda] is glad it is kind of a pain to delete messages, then you won't delete them on accidnet :D
He has answered this question a bunch of times.
2007-09-21 [Bookwyrm]: I must've missed it. :P Still...can't help but wish.
2007-09-22 [zoloftzantac]: I think the last few times it was discussed was in the forums
2007-09-22 [Bookwyrm]: Probably happened before I got used to the forums.
2007-09-26 [Hedda]: acid-net? Is that the net [zoloftzantac] is on? That would explain a lot!
2007-09-27 [zoloftzantac]: the acid-net is what is left of the neuro-matrix between my ears :p
2009-01-26 [DeeJay™]: please, please remove that box that keeps popping up out of nowhere :/
for one, it scares the crap out of me everytime i see it. and for two, everytime you highlight something (even by accident), then press the space bar, it goes onto a new page, and loses everything you were typing D:
maybe if you fixed that bug, it wouldnt matter so much. but atm, it sucks >_<
2009-01-26 [Hedda]: If you highlight something and press space, your browser will open a new window with the Elfpack-search result. You can just close that window if you want to continue where you were.
I personally love this feature. If I'm typing about something, I can mark a word, look it up and then continue to write.
I don't see how you can highlight a word and then press space/enter by accident.
2009-01-27 [DeeJay™]: like just now. i started to write, then wanted to start again (double-clicked
another example - if i make a typo, and only realise it just as i'm about to post. i highlight it, delete it, then write in my new word. but if i press space/enter, i lose everything i've just written :S
it's also happened on occasion where i've accidentally hit my pad (the touch-pad on a laptop), carried on typing without knowing, and looked up to see the google search screen :/
as you said, though; it opens a new tab on here. but on fake it doesnt. it replaces the 'fake' tab, which isnt good :\
2009-01-27 [Hedda]: That's a bug on Fake. I'll fix it.
Backspace should make turn off the opening. Fixed in the upcoming version.
2009-01-27 [Hedda]: Thanks for pointing out the problems! Not everyone writes and points in the same way, so I'll not see all problems myself.
2009-02-20 [DeeJay™]: it doesnt seem to be causing me any concerns anymore x]
thanks for fixing them. it's much appreciated :D
2009-06-25 [Hedda]: Yes...
2009-07-05 [DeeJay™]: uhm, [Hedda]? is there a way to, like.. make the PM reply box adjustable? either manually or (preferably) automatically, depending on the size of the web browser window?
unless i have the web browser on full window (which i rarely do), the message box to reply to any messages i get is waay too far away from the message i'm replying to. instead of just shrinking a little, it has to go at the end of all that stuff (-->), which is right at the bottom of the page :x
lol, i didnt explain that too well.. but imma have to go with it x3
2009-07-05 [Hedda]: Then you have a very small window-size.
I've fixed it in the upcoming version, but that will take some weeks before it's here. I just hope it works in Safari and IE...
